We use Seafood from SlowFood Scotland Winner Eddies Seafood Market in Edinburgh, and from our West Coast supplier Skipness Smokehouse who bring us their sustainable shellfish catch from Arran, one of Scotland's first Marine Conservation Areas. All of our seafood is cooked fresh to your order and portion wise, the platter is more than enough for two people as a main course.
As no-one is going on holiday for the foreseeable, each week we've been transporting seafood lovers via different themed platters and accompanying wine. So far we've been to the Amalfi Coast, Galicia, New Mexico, Provence, Greece, the Levant and Brittany.

This week, we’re heading to a part of Spain with a slightly more temperate climate. With its high rainfall, lush vegetation and close proximity to the sea, the Asturias region feels like an excellent fit for us Edinburgh seafood lovers. We know all about eating piles of octopus under an umbrella dripping with rain. Asturians are also known for their good nature and distinct regional history; they sound like our kind of people!
Known for seafood and cider, Asturias is another gorgeous region that we’re desperate to visit. So, with usual LeftField hospitality, we offer you the next best thing - our Asturias inspired seafood platter.
