An  skin contact (orange) wine made by Rus Jimenez who has been running her organic vineyard since her early twenties and prides herself on her minimum intervention approach to viticulture.  

GRAPE: Macabeo 

REGION: Manchuela, Spain

TASTING: Fresh smooth and lightly structured due to the skin contact. Aromatic honeysuckle with stone fruits and almond.

PAIRING: good enough on its own but pairs really well with hard cheese or salty snacks.  also great with white meats like chicken or pork.

VITICULTURE/WINEMAKING
This Macabeo has two weeks of contact with the skins and then 5 months ageing in stainless steel tanks on the fine lees
